I had the same problem in my S1-T. I use a Butler chute with the container
made to fit the size/shape of the seat pan with a wedge shape profile. The
wedge shape is to put less hight in the back so I can sit lower. Using the
full size of the seat pan also helps spread out the chute more than a
standard seat pack.
This arrangement works very well. I believe Butler will custom make
containers to any specs you want.

Subject: [Acro] Who makes the thinnest seat-pack parachute?

Test fitting a Pitts S-1S recently I had trouble with my 6'-4" height and
chair style (combination back and seat) parachute. I'm not too bad on
clearance from the canopy (with headset) but my long legs require every bit
of room I can spare and I'll clearly need a seat-pack.

I need recommendations on the thinnest seat pack available. Also, if anybody
in the Wichita area has one I'd like to borrow it for a test fit in another
local S-1S.

Thanks!
Paul Klusman
