Diamond, who will be based at her Omaha, Neb., office, will be responsible for the format and content of Sport Aerobatics, which is mailed each month to IAC's 6,000 members. She will report to IAC Executive Director Sharon Heuer.
Diamond owns and operates her own public relations and marketing company, Diamond Communications, in Omaha. She is also secretary and newsletter editor of IAC Chapter 80 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
"We are fortunate to have a person with Karens experience and background join us as the editor of Sport Aerobatics", said EAA President Tom Poberezny. "Her enthusiasm and background in the world of aerobatics will be a significant contribution to IAC's publication."
IAC was founded in 1970 as an EAA Division dedicated to aerobatic competition, education and promotion. It sponsors numerous competitions throughout the world, including the annual IAC Championships at Fond du Lac, Wis.
