Hi...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but I just got a call and it seems
that Airshow Pilot Jan Jones went down today near Cleveland. She
apparently was making a low pass over a grass runway in her Staudacher, to
let the mower know she wanted to land, pulled up and the engine failed.
She survived the crash, but the prognosis is pretty bad. She is on a
respirator, and John (her husband) is not holding out much hope.
This is a talented and promising individual, a very sweet lady, and one of
the most down to earth women in the airshow business. We are praying for
her recovery....
