Greetings Sorry im a couple of days responding to this enthusists need.Ive been busy trying to keep my 8th grade science students from "flushing" their grades this last month of the school year. When the solid steel wire for my Haigh tail wheel release broke on my S1S I went to a local auto parts wharehouse and purchased a cable and housing assy and just removed the .070 wire and "T" handle and inserted it into the original housing. The numbers are as follows; Dorman products inc. choke control assy PN 100-025 CC25 I didnt have an electrical system and I used the same assy on the glider tow release I installed so that I could prop it myself. This unit also has a 1/4 turn to lock feature.Dorman makes a lot of hardware items for the auto repair industry but you will have to find an auto parts store that carries some hardware stuff.Hope this helps.
