Dave,

The IAC ACE program is an exciting proposal, since the heads of IAC subscribe to this list maybe the ball will get rolling, unless there is something else we can do as individual members to pick up the ball. I am all for the IAC Ace program, I'll sign any petition and call any number.

Since you felt it necessary to post my email on the iac emailer, I feel I must respond.

In referencing the multi-millionaire types in Warbirds I was trying to make the point that money does influence the way things happen. I see that I was wrong in that your "research" shows that the average IAC'er has more invested financially than the average EAA Warbird owner. BTW, with solid financial planning I hope that someday people will refer to me as a multi-millionaire type.

You accused me of having "jibes against warbird operators" & "sniping at other groups". Does referencing a group of individuals as being financially well off constitute a "jibe"? If so I'm guilty as charged.

In the reference to the free admission passes to Sun-N-Fun, I was pointing out that EAA Warbirds with their membership has the political & financial clout to make this happen. Power to get things done is what I'm talking about in this email. Power is a good thing, and yes I am jealous in that I would like to see IAC assigned a parking area for aerobatic aircraft at S&F along with free admission passes. I realize that S&F is not a non-profit show, but maybe someday it will happen.

Dave, my initial response went directly to you. Note that you did not see my original post on the IAC e-mailer. Routing due to my multiple email accounts gave me another chance to consider sending it to the membership as a whole, to which I did not respond. I don't think I have said anything defamatory toward EAA Warbirds. If you think that I may have offended you or some organization with which you are affiliated with, then email me on my personal account, not the list. Unless you think the membership is interested in our goings back & forth.

Pitts owner & hopefully a future P-51 owner,
Jay Goodman
