  Hi all,
I thought you would like to now how coupe d'Anjou in France was like
saturday and sunday halfway France, in Angers, I saw Don Peterson win the
coupe d'Anjou, which is a 50 year old tradition of acro competition for
Stampe only......
This was probably the last issue in Angers as the field will be closed
there, and after 50 years of this now vintage and very traditional
competition (allways been only for Stampes) this "coupe" has become a
legend...for Stampe lovers......and many others...
The competition was .."gladiator" style .....on - up - and maybe sometimes
over the edge....
Heavy competition came also from Nick Bloom (UK)....
But it was obvious that for this very special last edition ? coupe the many
French and also some German competitors had trained hard.....the French
wanting to keep this coupe in their country.....

Bad luck for them...Don Peterson...came...he flew and beat them
all....flying the Stampe of his friend Nick Bloom.

Congratulations to Mr.Don Peterson....
As far as I remember by heart after a 5 hour 2 fuel stop landing with a lot
of headwind and maneuvering between TS and RASH back to Antwerp in a open
Stampe he won with 3982 against second 3950 or something...
but I am sure correct info will be available later from Don ....soon...(now
still in France)

Best Regards from Belgium
Joseph
