Excellent answer indeed... and don't let the facts get in your way! In fact, I still haven't landed my S2B, even though the person who re-put it together and test-flew it, did so with 20,000+ hr real flight time, no prior Pitts instuction, and did just fine. In regard to many ACRO replies saying patronising things about Israel only because a single Israeli IAC member(me) post here - I was simply reminded of an H.L. Mencken quote: "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public." OB aerobatics: my Pitts S2B is finally flying in Israel! It took a full year since I purchased it, restored it to normal category, de-registered, shipped, re-assembled and CofA over here. No we don't have a war, the skies are open, and there have been no shooting on civilian aircrafts, depite everything you may have heard on the news. Currently my instructor is still playing with landings himself, before he switches seats with me attempting to prevent me from breaking it on my 1st landing, which I'm sure many would love to hear about (pun intended). --Michael Phil Sisson wrote: > > very excellent reply Troy... > Phil > > Acrotroy at aol.com wrote: > > > So YOU are the guy who thought he should land the Pitts S-2B without any > > help???
