Just a quick question for Extra owners.

In my 230 I have two fuel tanks. A big one (about 65 litres) above a little
one (about 10 litres). The big one feeds the little one and the little one
feeds the engine via a wobble pump and then the mechanical fuel pump on the
engine itself. The feed line to the wobble pump comes out of the front of
the little tank.

My question is: If I have a relatively small amount of fuel in the tank (say
20-25 litres) and I am flying vertically up for a long time (which my 230
likes to do, especially when light) could the engine get starved of fuel as
the fuel settles in the back of the tank (opposite to where the feed line
attaches to the little tank)?

Thanks for any help.

Ian
