Budd Davisson has done this to his S-2A that he uses for training. If I recall, he said there was an STC for this mod. see www.airbum.com for contact info.

  Hi Richard

We have a small company that does a lot of Pitts work and we did this for a fellow near Wenatchee Wa, his name is Craig Christopher and you might be able to find out from him what he had to do as we weren't involved in the paperwork aspect just the labor.

  All the best, Rob Halas

A friend has asked if it is possible to replace the fabric on the side of the cockpit (up to behind the rear seat) with Ali panels?

I did this a few years ago on an S1C so I know what is involved as far as the physical work goes, but has anyone done it on a certified S2A?
