Yeah, we used to do it at McGregor.

1.   GPS to find the general vicinity
2.   Airplane or helicopter overhead to help with orientation and "yeah, that looks about right."
3.   Big stick to deal with rattlesnakes.  seriously.
4.   The first person that whines about the crooked box gets delegated the task of doing it next year.

Subject: [Acro] Box Marker Setup


There is a possibility that we may be contending with setting up box markers 
at our contest this year in a mature corn field.  Has anyone else ever had to 
deal with how you are going to lay out markers so they will be visible to the 
contestants in a field with 8 ft high cornstalks in it ?  I would appreciate 
suggestions from those that have.
