Lone Star Aerobatic Contest-June 20-22, 2001! Grayson County Airport, Sherman, Texas Home of the IAC US Nationals COME SEE WHAT THE BOX LOOKS LIKE AND HAVE A GREAT TIME. Schedule of Events Thursday, June 20 : Aerobatic Box open for practice, registration starts around noon 6:00 pm: Unlimited Four Minute Freestyle Program Friday, June 21: 0700-0900: Late registration 0900: Mandatory brief at tent! 2030: Barbeque at tent sponsored by I.A.C. Chapter 24 Saturday, June 22 0800: Mandatory Brief at tent! 2100: Awards Banquet at the Railhead Sunday, June 23: Clean up Accommodations: Comfort Suites: 1.903.893.0499 All suites, include two beds, sleeper sofa, breakfast bar. Double: $69 + tax. Rooms are blocked until June 13th. We have 13 n/s queens, 7 smoking queens, 3 smoking kings, and 7 n/s kings blocked for a total of 30. More rooms are available if necessary, but they advise to make reservations ASAP, because they're already 25% booked that weekend. All rooms are suites, breakfast included and available starting 0600 Friday and 0630 Sat and Sun. Up to 4 people allowed per suite, flat rate for all rooms is $69.00. Cancellation policy is before 6pm the same day. Ask for the "Lone Star Aerobatics" rate. If any problems or questions arise, contact the manager, Patty Coats.
