  Can you believe it!

Only 3 weeks to go until the 2002 Can-Am / Henry Haigh Challenge.

Sponsored by IAC Chapter 88, Aerobatics Canada, and EAA chapter 304. This is a “must do” event for everyone in the Midwest (but of course, we may be a little biased)!

Where: Jackson, Michigan’s Reynolds Field (KJXN)
When: July 5- 7, 2002

This will be the typical 5 Category format with practice on Friday July 5th and Pilot Briefings at 7:30am Saturday and Sunday.

Other unbeatable features:

Free pizza party Friday night.
Free T-shirt for all competitors and/or volunteers. Complements of the Jackson Visitors Bureau.
Continental breakfast and lunch served by the great folks of EAA 304 (plus the Airport Restaurant on field).
Professionally catered Steak cookout Saturday night with all the fixin’s (and vegetarian consideration) only $20.
Hangars provided (only $10 / night).
Hotel transportation as needed.

But wait, there's more......well not really, but isn't this enough?

A block of rooms is reserved at the Holiday Inn - Jackson (517.783.2681) under IAC and several other lodging options are available in the area. Just ask and we can share the other details.

An RSVP reply to this email (or a call to me at 248.875.7722) would be appreciated but not required if you plan to attend. This being Michigan, we will still respect you in the morning if you DO NOT show up on a “VMC into IMC” report somewhere.

Contacts:
Rick Stone, Contest Director 248.623.1779
Roger Bentlage, Asst CD 248.391.1765
Robb Butts, Volunteer Coord. 248.875.7722

Thanks, and hope to see you all there (or at least everyone within a 500 NM radius)!

Robb Butts,
Treasurer & V.C.
IAC Chapter 88
