So I'm staring at a recent oil analysis on my AEIO-360AIE from my Pitts
S-1T. Its showing higher than normal Iron and Chromium levels in the oil.
Specifically the Chromium went from 3 to 21 and the Iron from 30 to 340.

My mechanic says not to get stressed by it, that it happens and is not a
sign of impending doom. Then again I run this thing flat out 80% of its
running time and kind of have a vested interest in it working perfectly.
What do you guys think and what is your experience with abnormal oil
analysis in an aerobatic engine?

Cheers,

Peter
