I discovered that the left wing most inboard rib on my S1S sparcraft wing is a bit crushed. It is the little piece of wood under the rear spar that is crushed and I suspect that it was caused by an overload on the step plate. Is there someone who has had this problem before? Is there a clever way to repair this? I also found that the inboard anti-drag wires are not very tight. The drag wires seem to have more tension on them. Is this due to the rigging forces from the landing and flying wires? The outboard drag and anti-drag wires all have this very nice grand-piano sound, which makes me conclude that the central compression rib must be OK. Any advice on the subject is extremely welcome. Thanks in advance, Hans. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
