Brad, I don't know who you are or where your from but you have got to be out of your mind if you only have 4 hours Pitts time and think your going to be in a contest anytime soon. I have been flying since 1984 and have over 100 hours Pitts time. I have just joined a local IAC chapter and will compete in my first contest this coming September. Furthermore if your rudder cables are actually frayed that plane should be grounded until a competent "Pitts" mechanic can do the necessary repairs. Please seek out some competent instruction and advice from your local IAC chapter.
