Seen on the Luscombe list: With all our discussions, the latest tidbit from the AOPA mag was interesting: FAA Checkride Requirements Changed For commercial pilot applicants, steep spirals and power-off 180-degree accuracy landings are now required. In addition, more precise maneuvering standards are now required for slow flight, power-off stalls, and (in the case of private pilot applicants) turns to a heading. We'll see how this works compared to past spin requirement statistics- thoughts? Rich Klarich IAC 21376
