I just got a quote from Poly Fiber to recover a Clipped Wing
Tcraft using their system and Aerothane paint (2 colors, white and
blue). It was $4100 (tax included) with me picking up all the supplies
to avoid hazmat charges. I know there has been previous discussion on
this topic before but doesn't that sound really high? Everything from
epoxy primer to metal etchant was included in the quote but even the
manual says that Cub sized airplanes should cost $2000-$2500 to cover.
The prices quoted are the same as AC Spruce lists them. Anyone know
where to get this stuff for a more reasonable price?
