  ITEMS NEEDED FOR IAC ARCHIVES

For many years, IAC Historian Mike Heuer has been collecting
pieces of IAC history ... magazines, publications, letters,
photographs, decals, patches, and other materials ... even before
the historian position was created in the late 1980's.
However, there are gaps in this collection which we need your
help on. Members who have back issues of SPORT AEROBATICS which
they wish to donate should contact the historian. Missing are
some issues from the 1970's and 1980's. While IAC has all the
issues it has ever published in bound volumes, loose versions of
each magazine are also desirable for the archives.
We are in particular need of the early issues of the IAC
newsletter which were published in the months before SPORT
AEROBATICS was created. Are there any veteran members out there
who have these materials?
Please contact Mike Heuer, IAC Historian, 758 Grovewood Drive,
Cordova, TN 38018. Phone (901) 756-7092 or fax (901) 759-1483.
Internet address is 70263.1676 at compuserve.com. We would very much
appreciate any materials you might have, including photographs.
Eventually, these materials will rest in the aerobatic wing of the
EAA Aviation Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin permanently.
