As an unlimited pilot I would like to offer this advice on the choice of
2.25in instruments for your panel. You will find, once you start doing acro
in your new airplane, that you will constantly be refering to the altimeter
and airspeed indicator (and tach if fixed pitch ) whilst in a high G
enviroment, safe decision taking demands that your instrument scan provide
this information quickly and accurately. While the choice of the 2.25in
gauges may make for a pretty panel it does not follow that it will be the
most functional panel.I would strongly advise the choice of larger critical
instruments. Elsewhere the 2.25in should be fine.
