If the digital flow meter is indicating flow rather than total fuel burned when it goes to zero, the problem could be : 1) intermittent open or short in the sensor cable 2) sticking or otherwise faulty sensor 3) intermittent indicator circuit These are listed roughly in order of probability. I have had periodic problems with RF coupling to the circuit (when I'm transmitting) - but this only resets the totalizer, the fuel flow indication should only be temporarily cleared by RF. We did have to replace the sensor at around 300 hours - it has minimal air flow around it and may be subject to heat damage.
