Aero Sport is proud to annouce Walter Extra"s latest accomplishments.
Earlier this week the all new Extra 200 was test flown and the flight
enevelope has been expanded to include all spins, both nornal and flat,
stability checks, VNE (220 knots), and normal maneuvers associated with US
certification. The Lycoming IO 360 powered two place Extra will be
certificated at 10 +/- G's. The airplane is presently logging it's first
cross country time in the cargo hold of a 747 and will make it's first
public appearence at Sun & Fun next week. Look for the most beautifull
yellow, red, and blue airplane and you'll have found us!

As if this accomplishment wasn't enough, Walter Extra ended his week by
making the first flight on the new Extra 400. The 400 is an all composite,
six place, pressurized retractable with a projected cruise speed of 248
knots. Look for the 400 at Oshkosh this year.

We congratulate Walter and the fine staff of Extra. Can anyone remember the
last time any manufacture completed two airplanes and test flew both of them
in the same week? An amazing feat!
