I got the following information from Larry Caldwell at Denver ACO. Every affected acft must be inspected and a report submitted, but he recommends otherwise sit tight and not invent fixes until the data is in. Aviat is flying with strain gages on some of the acft and there should be a consensus in a few months with recommendations to either do away with the AD or accomplish some specific repair or modification yet to be determined. Anyone who finds a problem in the meantime may do a field repair. The repair scheme must be approved by Aviat and Denver ACO. One of the S2B's which suffered a failure has been repaired and is flying.
