   The plane was a new one with only 17 +/- hours on it, the investigation has
been turned over to the naval safety board . They have recovered the
recorder from the plane and have not say much about it. The news reported
that he avoided a house before impact and that he probably did not eject
because of the populated area. The news just said that they found the data
recorder ( black box ) and that the plane was refueled at St.Louis Regional
so they are looking at the fuel also.
 The family of the pilot (wife and 3 of 5 kids.. Jeff Crutchfield ) was
watching from the airport as were some workers from McDonnell Douglas
employee's. The name of the town where this happened at is Bethalto , Il.
