At last!

... Here we are at last. On June 22th, Italian NAC officially appointed the
Team as proposed by Powered Flight Commission several months ago.
Better late than never, even because there is very scarce time to work
and so many things are still pending. First, it is necessary to dismount
and palletize the aircraft for shipping by sea, then arrange the airline
tickets (difficult task, because WAC collide with "vacationers" exodus
all over the world), pack the luggages, find viable excuses for wifes and
moms, etc.
Anyway, accustomed as they are to culpable delays of bureaucracy, pilots and
other Team members are working hard, and noone is sitting idle.
First two of the four Team's aircraft (both CAP-231 of Andrea FOSSI and
CILLARIO) are already dismounting at S.S.V.V. (Sezione Sperimentale Volo a
Vela) Milano-Linate premises, headed by Mr. Felice GONALBA, to be loaded
in the container in a few days.
On Monday June 24 the remaining two aircraft (CAP-231EX of Ruggero ROSSINI
and Fabio VIVIANI and SU-31 of Sergio DALLAN) will follow: then, both
containers will be shipped to Genoa, and the ship will leave on July 5th
to Houston, managed by Kuhne & Nagel International
Delivery is scheduled for July 29th in Duncan, 100Km South of Oklahoma City,
which is the training field assigned by Organizing Committee to Italy: the
Team will arrive around August 1st immediately beginning aircraft rebuilding
to start training as soon as possible.
We'll succeed once more!

     Fly High, Italia!
