  I recommend you consider buying a good Pitts S1C or S1S.  Then take about 3-5
hours of spin training in a Pitts S2-A or S2-B with a really qualified,
competent instructor.  Spin training will save your life and give you confidence
to practice maneuvers while you learn to do them with dignity.  It'll take you
many years to outgrow either aircraft, they are economical to operate, and after
you fly one you won't ever be satisfied with much else.  good luck.
