Remains of the Pacific Hurricane Fausto was all over us here last night and this morning in North Texas and was supposed to linger with 100% chance of rain all day today (Sun, 9/15). I spoke to Allyson Parker-Lauck about Chapter 24's scheduled box panel layout "party" at Grayson County Airport that was supposed to happen today around noon. I told her it would be way too muddy even if it stopped raining which at the time was in downpour mode. Allyson said it was the same in Tulsa. Now it has stopped since about 11am local time and regional radar on the net at 1pm local showed no rain to the west and it's very clear except for puffy clouds and with the best horizons we've seen in several weeks. Ah, well... Sorry Allyson. This will help dry up the land around Grayson County for a new attempt on Monday or Tuesday. It WILL get done. Meanwhile, Bill Marcellus may be at Don Ort's by himself, cleaning the mud and dirt off the white vinyl/canvas panels. That's only about 3,000 sq. ft. of panel to clean. Thanks, Bill. Daryle L.
