  Dear Friends:

This afternoon we had an incredible honor.  A team of professional "movie
makers" spent the entire day at Mile Square Park videotaping the Toys for
Tots charity fundraising remote control aircraft fun fly.  They indicated to
us that Discovery is considering a monthly or possibly even weekly show on
remote control and modelling in general, hopefully with a strong slant toward
flying model aircraft.  Based upon that information, they were filming a
pilot episode.

I would like to request that everyone who would like to see this happen write
a polite note to "viewer_relations at discovery.com" 
to express your interest and support for such a show and, most of all, our
gratitude for Discovery taking the time to take notice of our sport.  Also,
visit their home page, log in as a visitor and indicate this as your prime
area of interest.  Of significant importance will be the indication to
Discovery that this is not a small nor a regional interest, but something
their vast viewing public will enjoy.

Thanks to all who take the time to write.  This kind of publicity for our
sport certainly doesn't come along every day!
