Bill Briski - November 26, 1996 1:00 P.M. MST Friend, Phoenix Aerobatic Club member, Sportsman pilot and extraordinary human beingBill Briskilost his battle with lung cancer today. His wife Jan says he flew to freedom and made his transition into peace. His smile filled a room. His laughter and joy in living touched everyone who ever met him. Life wont be as much fun without Bill around. Several weeks ago, Jan had plans to hold a "celebration service" at Chandler (AZ) Municipal Airport to include a missing man formation. Her plan was to hold it AFTER the first of the year. Since Bill flew a Great Lakes, some have suggested that the formation be made up entirely of Great Lakes (if possible). He will be missed terribly, and our hearts and prayers go out to Jan, who loved him more than life itself. Cards and condolences can be sent to Jan at 1214 E.
