We are asking your support today for a mass e-mailing effort to
demonstrate widespread support for our cause:  reopening Chicago's
downtown airport--Meigs Field--via legislation in the Illinois state
legislature.

Would you take a few moments--RIGHT NOW--to do 2 things:

1.  Send an e-mail message to Speaker of the Illinois House of
Representatives, Lee Daniels, at 
speaker at housegop.state.il.us 

saying simply: 

PLEASE REOPEN MEIGS FIELD 

in both the subject and the body of the message.  Add more if you wish,
but keep it short and simple.  If you are from outside the United States,
make sure that your country appears somewhere. 

2.  Forward this e-mail request to at least 2 other people you know who
might be willing to help us out in this project.
