Friends,

I need a dozen volunteers to give me their opinions. Following are the
specifics and requirements. 

What: Be part of the SA Reader's Choice Awards panel.
Who: Need 12 IAC members to serve on the panel. You must have received and be
familiar with all the 1996 issues of Sport Aerobatics. (This means that to
qualify, you must have received the December issue).

Tomorrow, each panel member will be e-mailed a document that asks for your
opinion about what was the "best of 1996" in 14 categories. You will need to
have all twelve 1996 issues handy for reference. Making your selections will
probably take at least an hour--maybe more, depending on how carefully you
contemplate your answers.

When you have completed your selections, you can either e-mail or fax the
form back to me by noon this Thursday. Once I have reviewed the
"nominations", I will send back a ballot listing the nominations in each
category. We will then take a vote via e-mail or phone to determine the final
selections.

If you are interested in serving on the panel, please e-mail me asap and put
"Readers Choice" in the subject line. I will also need your full name and IAC
number. If you want the document faxed to you instead of e-mailed please
include your fax number.
