Please join Chapter 12 at our 25th annual Rocky Mountain Aerobatic Championship! Over the memorial day weekend, May 23rd - 25th, we have a five category contest planned at the Loveland - Ft. Collins airport (FNL). Registration and practice is Friday the 23rd and the contest will run Saturday and Sunday. We plan to have the box up for Thursday. The runway is very Pitts friendly (8500' x 100'), there is plenty of hangar space, and the facilities are superb! The box is located on airport property between the north part of the runway and the north-south interstate, I-25. You can pre-register for the contest from the IAC home page (http://acro.aerobaticsweb.org/iac_homepg.html), looking down until you find "Other Relevant Information" and clicking on the bullet labelled "Competition Aerobatics related information". That will bring you to a page where you can click on the second bullet, "Contest Pre- Registration". Cool! The host hotel is one exit south of the airport on I-25, the Coach House Best Western at the intersection of 34 and I-25. The have a pool outside, a pool inside, and two hot tubs! Our banquet will be there as well, so no driving to your hotel afterwards. You can reach them at (970) 667-7810 (and press "0" when the automatic answer starts talking).
