  We've about beat landings to death but for the record our tower 
controllers allow us to do an overhead break at midfield with a 360 to 
landing; basically a U type approach. You can see the runway all the way 
to touchdown and by controlling where and which way you break the tower 
guys can fit you in with the other traffic. Once saw a real near miss at 
a contest with a Pitts in a steep slipping descent coming down on top of 
a spam can in a long, shallow B-52 approach. How about take-offs? Ever 
notice how few pilots drop the nose or S-turn to check for traffic on 
climbout. Rocket
