For anyone interested I have the Ray Williams spring gear conversion. It's working well. Basically he as the gear formed and makes a square tube frame that bolts to the existing landing gear attachment points then the gear clamps to the bracket. The main advantage is you do not have to weld the fuselage. If the airplane is tore apart now it just as easy to weld in whats needed. But don't expect Ray to build you one right away. You will have to wait until he is ready to do it. Darwin
