At approximately 1630 hours Australian Eastern Summer Time, on March
6 1997, warbird restorer and aerobatics pilot Guido Zuccoli died in an aircraft
accident at Katherine in The Northern Territory, Australia.

Although the details are sketchy, he was the pilot of a Harvard that
suffered an engine failure shortly after take-off. The passenger survived
the accident.

Guido will be sadly missed by everyone who new him as his contribution to
Aviation in Australia, and in particular aerobatics, warbird restoration,
airshows and aircraft maintenance, was always very generous.
