I am hoping someone in the group knows or knows of Nancy Malm, pilot
certificate 1272001, and could put me in touch with her.

She was the first owner of N9JT, serial # 1-0001, the first factory
built Pitts. As I was told the story, Bill Thomas' brother Jerry ordered
the airplane, but could not take delivery when it was completed in
August of 1973. I have the original logbook, and after 3.88 hours of
flight test on 15 August, the next entry is 27 August, 1973, signed by
Nancy with the notation "first flight" with a star drawn next to it.
From some of the airport names, I believe she lived somewhere in Ohio.

Some time between 7-6-1977 when an annual was done and 8-23 1977
when a new radio was installed at Crystal Lake Airport, the airplane
was purchased by Milo Miller, who took outstanding care of it until I
bought it in October of 1995.

I am trying to build the history of this rather significant airplane,
and I'd like to talk to Nancy about those first days.

I'd really appreciate any help from readers of this list.

Thanks
