Just occurred to me to mention the previous owner of my S-1S had installed a
capacitive sending unit in my fuel tank. Noting that despite his saying that
the simple thin rod would not cause problems with the flop, one of the Tech
Tips manuals states forcefully that there should be NOTHING else in the tank
but the flop tube. I'm removing the previous owner's handiwork (he never flew
it with the SU in place), and welding a plate over the four holes.
