Over heard at the airport coffee shop this weekend. Joanne Osterud's (hope the spelling's right) SX300 which was the victim of a mishap a few months ago is for sale. The fuselage is in tact but all four wing panels must be re-built. I have not seen it but I understand the engine is a pumped 540. The gentleman I was talking to bought it for a song in a bid situation and is interested in moving it. It's curretly in a hangar at LGB. If you have an interest, let me know and I'll connect you. Oh, yes, he's willing to part with it for $15,000 I understand. One other thing. The a/c had a three bladed wood prop and when it hit inverted, the prop splintered, absorbing the shock (or so the theory goes). Bill Bancroft n77tw at aol.com
