The United States Aerobatic Foundation is the organization charged with the
funding, organization and administration of the United States Aerobatic
Teams. The current President, Phil Knight, and the Board of Directors are
searching for an Executive Director. This is a full-time position reporting
to the USAF President. Primary Responsibility is fund raising; specifically,
achievement of USAF's fund raising goals through development of sponsor and
donor programs, including personal contacts/solicitations.

Additionally, the Executive Director will be tasked with administration of
USAF's day to day business, regarding Board Activities, fund raising,
publicity, US Aerobatic Teams support and business management needs, and
supervision of USAF's executive secretarial services contractor.

This position is newly created. The Board recently finished a 5 year
Strategic Plan that clearly requires talented paid staff to ensure
achievement of USAF's mission.

Minimum qualifications are: Bachelor's Degree from a four year college or
university; minimum 10 years experience in office or business administration;
minimum 5 years proven successful experience in fund raising on a national
scale; excellent writing and oral communications skills; and a personal style
that is conducive to building strong and lasting relationships with donors,
sponsors, media, Board Members and support groups. Previous experience
working with a "volunteer" Board would be a plus.

While you don't have to be a pilot, an aviation background is preferred along
with a passion for sport aerobatics. Compensation includes a benefit package
plus salary and performance incentives consistent with an individual's
experience and industry standards.

Candidates interested in making a difference and helping grow awareness and
support for our US Teams should send resume and salary requirements to:
