ADELINE, Ill. (AP) - A single-engine airplane designed for
aerobatics spiraled into the ground, killing both men aboard.
Authorities said the victims were found wearing parachutes.
George Masten III, 46, and Brian Dunkel, 33, died in Friday
night's crash about 100 miles west of Chicago. Witnesses told
police the plane flew straight up, turned over and hurtled toward
the ground.
No other details on the plane or the men were immediately
available from authorities Saturday. The crash was being
investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board and the
Federal Aviation Administration.
