I will never forget Ken Hadden
I remember the First time I met Ken, It was at the Farmville Va contest
1990, He was flying a Decathlon. He was very enthusiastic about
sharing his learnings regarding the Decathlon and flying it safely.

Later at an Ohio contest I was telling Ken that my tailwheel tube blew on
landing and that I was looking for one. Ken got into his recently
purchased S2B, flew to a friends private field and picked up a tube
for me so I could fly the contest. I ask him how I could ever
repay him, what he said was, "you will help someone else
someday". I have always wanted to repay him and will never forget his help.

It's interesting that I remember details of conversations with Ken. What I
admire about Ken was his Enthusiasm to not just participate but to lead and
SHARE. Which is why he was so successful at whatever he did.
