To all Pitts enthusiasts & historians: We are part of the team restoring Betty Skelton's Little Stinker at the National Air & Space Museum. This aircraft is Pitts Serial Number 2, the oldest surviving Pitts. In 1948, this aircraft had both a windscreen and a canopy used for ferry flights. When the Smithsonian acquired the aircraft, the canopy and rails had been removed. We are looking for information regarding the sliding canopy rails. Thanks in advance for your help! George & Cindy Rousseau
