  Hi all,

I am getting lots of bounces of posts because the email address
that the poster has in the From: line is not the same as the
email address in the list. This feature in the list prevents
spam mail to reach you (and it does a good job). But it means
that you have to make sure that you are signed up with the
right address. Please check what address your email system
puts in the Frm: line of your outgoing mail. Compare it with
the address with which you are signed up. If the two don't
match, you won't be able to post to the list. If these
addresses don't match, please do one of the following:

1. Convince your email system to use the
email address with which you are signed up as the
From: address.

2. Sign up with the address that your email system uses in the
From: line.

The list has a little bit of smarts. It will accept an email
address of:
name at

and then will accept posts from all addresses of the form:
name at

So, if you can receive email through such an abbreviated
address, it is probably best to sign up with that.
Signing up with a specific address instead of the default in
your From: line can be done through the IAC web site and the
signup form that is linked there.

If you want to change your address in the list, PLEASE use the
form on the IAC website. If you do it through directly through
the iac-request address, I will get email asking me to approve
the transaction. It is much easier for me if you use the web
form, and it is also easier for you I believe.
