Yep, I've watched the Hilton Masters and the Breitling on tv - just about the
only time we see aerobatics on television in Australia is on cable! (very late
at night)

But it's great to see people trying to get the networks interested - it's all in
the production and the hype.

hey - people watch synchronised swimming - aeros has GOT to be more exciting
than that - even 30 Basic competitors flying after one another is more riveting.

Olympics does not include motor sports.

World Air Games may someday be an answer to a need for "olympic" competition
of the air. There are many reasons for failure of our sport to "grow".
However, in the past years we have seen a steady increase in the number of
contestants and contests as well as membership.

Perhaps we are growing slower than we could. Numerous people have invested
their time and energy in bridging the gap to TV and the general public. All
have quit because the investment was not returned. Have you heard of :

Hilton Masters of Aerobatics
Breitling Aerobatic "competition"
Several contests with big prize money
Duane Cole/Sporty's low horsepower contest

Everyone should keep trying and bring a big check book !

Bless all whose reach exceeds their grasp.
